Sweet old religious medal. Sterling silver, marcasite, and mother of pearl. Mother Mary. Interesting shape with a touch of sparkle. A great addition to your jewelry collection.

The medal is marked STERLING on the back. Descriptions are based on the markings, as metals are not tested in my possession.

The medal measure approx. 1 1/2" tall by 13/16" at the widest point.

Vintage condition. Light to medium patina to the metal.

This is older and has been worn, please expect surface scratches and wear. Please look closely at the photos...many of which are magnified, as they are close-up shots. Colors also very with monitor types, so please allow for slight differences. Patinas do darken in storage. I am always happy to answer questions.

Vintage. Do NOT use liquid silver polish or harsh chemicals on pieces with stones (especially turquoise) as those substances will cause damage. A simple silver cloth will do, taking care to avoid the stones as much as possible.
